Perplexity Tasks (scheduled searches)
Perplexity Tasks are the older recurring tasks, such as daily summaries, scheduled searches, and price alerts. They are not managed through Computer. Where to find them: Settings → Notifications, or go directly to perplexity.ai/account/notifications. How to delete them:2
Select each task to open it.

Select Delete to remove it.
Scheduled tasks in Computer
Computer scheduled tasks are newer recurring tasks created inside Perplexity Computer. They are managed on the Automations dashboard. Where to find them: Automations in the left sidebar, or go directly toperplexity.ai/computer/automations.
How to pause or delete them:

Open the Automations dashboard to see all scheduled tasks, grouped under
Active, Paused, and Completed.

Open the Actions menu on the task’s row.

To stop the task running for now, select Pause. The row reads Paused
until you select Enable, and the task keeps its schedule and history.

To remove the task, select Delete.
How to tell which type you have
- If you created recurring tasks through regular Perplexity prompts, such as “Send me a daily summary of AI news”, those are Perplexity Tasks. Manage them at Settings → Notifications.
- If you created recurring tasks inside Computer conversations, those are Computer scheduled tasks. Manage them on the Automations dashboard.
