Perplexity Tasks (Scheduled Searches)
Perplexity has two types of scheduled or recurring tasks. They are managed in different places.
Perplexity Tasks are the older recurring tasks, such as daily summaries, scheduled searches, and price alerts. They are not managed through Computer.
Where to find them: Settings → Notifications, or go directly to perplexity.ai/account/notifications.
How to delete them:
Click into each task to open it.
Select Delete to remove it.
There is no bulk delete option. You must delete each task one by one.
Tip: If you are using the desktop or mobile app, open the notifications link in a web browser to make sure the full task management interface loads properly.
Scheduled Tasks in Computer
Computer scheduled tasks are newer recurring tasks created inside Perplexity Computer. They are managed through the Computer section.
Where to find them: Computer → Tasks, or go directly to perplexity.ai/computer/tasks.
How to stop or delete them:
Open Computer → Tasks to see all scheduled tasks.
Click any task, then choose Stop task.
You can also stop a task from the conversation’s right-hand context pane.
Stopping a task removes it permanently.
How to tell which type you have
If you created recurring tasks through regular Perplexity prompts, such as “Send me a daily summary of AI news,” those are Perplexity Tasks. Manage them at Settings → Notifications.
If you created recurring tasks inside Computer conversations, those are Computer scheduled tasks. Manage them at Computer → Tasks.
